 Сайт Niche.com визнав систему державних шкіл Міннетонки другим найкращим шкільним округом, першим за рівнем підготовки вчителів та третім найкращим місцем для викладання серед державних шкіл штату Міннесота в рамках рейтингу «Найкращі школи 2026 року». Мінетонка також посіла 49-те місце в національному рейтингу найкращих шкільних округів Америки та 32-ге місце серед округів з найкращими вчителями Америки серед понад 11 278 державних шкільних округів по всій країні. Кожна з дев'яти шкіл та Tonka Online окремо отримали найвищі оцінки в численних категоріях.

Minnetonka students continue to excel in AP courses at Minnetonka High School and through Tonka Online. Minnetonka’s AP exam pass rate (scores of 3 or higher) is 89.7%. As of August 2026, 1070 students in grades 9-12 had earned one of four AP Scholar designations. 84.6% of the Class of 2026 took an AP or IB course during their high school careers.
